Boyz II Men - "End of the Road"

I saw Boyz II Men last year, and they have most definitely still got it. They're down to three, but the harmonies are all still there, and they can make a crowd of 20- and 30- and up something girls swoon. While this was never one of my favorite songs of theirs, I do appreciate the heartbreak of it, and their lack of fear in putting something so sad out there for us to... well, enjoy isn't the right word. Cry over?

"Magic to Do" from "Pippin"

I have a confession - I had never seen "Pippin" and barely even listened to the soundtrack before seeing it last summer. *Dodges Rotten Fruit* - sad but true. And while every song might not hold a special place for me, the work in this show is really stellar. Obviously, the dancing alone is one of a kind, but even down to the vocal control throughout the jazz-like songs is incredible. I continue to be amazed and thrilled by this music every time I give it a listen, and it seriously downright warms my heart.

We've got parts to perform.... Hearts to warm
Kings and things to take by storm
As we go along our way
