That being said, we've definitely got a quick one today. Swedish House Mafia was nominated at this year's Grammys for "Save the Word," which only appears with two tracks on this album - the radio mix and the extended mix.
Swedish singer John Martin is involved on vocals. Now 79 included it on their album - yes, 79. I remember Now 1. Then again, in Europe, there's like Now 218.
Here's the quick link to Spotify if you'd like to join in.
Here we go. "Save The World (Radio Mix)" is excellent. I had no idea this was who it is! We'll go ahead and assume this is added to my playlist, because I liked it long before this listen. Yesssss it's very mainstream for a house band, but welcome to our day-and-age. I think the line "turn up the love" is what got me originally and keeps me hooked. There's a very cool, relatable message going through this, and it's worth just being in the moment for. This has a classic beat that I feel like we've heard a million times, but it's right. I don't know, there's just something wonderful about being able to both dance to a song, as well as just close your eyes and enjoy it.
And now, the video, with dogs.
So there you have it folks! Hope you enjoyed a few minutes of a break to rock a little and a call to save the world. Enjoy your afternoons! :)
