Duck Sauce is an American-Canadian DJ duo. The reasoning for including a review for this is its Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. Like I've mentioned before, I have a no-quite attitude when it comes to my lists.
Yes, it's name after the singer. The loop you hear sampled constantly throughout is Boney M's 1979 single "Gotta Go Home." That song borrows from Nighttrain's 1973 song "Hallo Bimmelbahm." Heinz Huth wrote the hook. The cover is modelled from Barbara's album Guilty.

There's a list of cameos of course: Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Andre 3000, DJ Premier, Chromeo, Questlove, Santigold, Yelawolf, The Roots. Good times to be had by all.
Of course, the New York element is pretty awesome on a personal level. The row boat scenes are a little odd, but okay. It's funny how it all looks like an amateur YouTube video thrown together to a track. That might be part of the appeal though, really. It's just a bunch of fun and insanity throughout the city with a whole helluva lot of awesome people.
The song on its own has always been a little annoying in some ways to me, but this video change it. I've gone ahead and added it to my playlist. Did you???
