A feel-good, get-over-him kinda song. Also, a get-outta-town song, and you know I always love those. LeAnn Rimes, despite whatever controversy may have swirled around her personal life, is and always will be an incredible singer. What's crazy to me is that this came off of her first album, which came out at such a young age.
I remember watching a "Behind the Music" on her a long time ago, and someone (I think her Dad?) said that she had a great voice, but once she was heartbroken, that's when they would see her real power. I think "Blue" was the example of what came after that, when her career launched.
Anywhos, LeAnn has always been a singing role model for me. Her music is country, powerful, and just plain great. I think at this point I probably own all of her CDs at this point. Talk about great driving music too - hmm... that reminds me, I've got to get my Nashville road trip music together!
Because songs define our moments.
