I adore a lot of what Sara does, and this song is no exception. The rhythm is enough to drive you right into understanding, and the lyrics you hear are strong and independent. Some mornings, afternoons, and nights, you just need that. Look up the lyrics to this whole thing, because I believe you'll really see something smart and fantastic.

Inside joke-ish kind of thing going on here... but honestly, who doesn't need some awesome 80's music in their lives?? Stephanie, this one's for you - thanks for a great run of a fantastic show! Talk about different - this song celebrates being from the wrong side of the tracks. And the infectious sound of the whole thing is something that can be tolerated in one song at a time, which we haven't had in a while. Honestly, I feel like Amy Winehouse is making her comeback in the form of a blonde. Gin pulls off a hellova number here though, even if she is lacking intensity of any kind in the video.
Welcome to Musical Mondays! (You're welcome and I miss you JAM.) In a week that is either going to bring something amazing or something disappointing (y'all will be able to tell be the song, trust me), this seems like a good, uplifting song to choose to believe in. Plus, the chord is beautiful. And maybe only the Stockton cast will fully understand that. =)
