Now, warning: this one is not for the faint of heart. There's a lot of mature... yeah, we'll go with mature... content here, and it's presented in some of the most outlandish ways.
But <3 Andy Samberg.
And it's all pretty much hilarious, featuring some of the biggest names in popular music today. And yesterday. Eh, you'll see what I mean.
Comedy music may be my favorite kind of music. Especially when it turns visual, and lucky for us, we've also got a lot of videos to go with this post. Let's start right off with the opening song, and thus video, "We're Back!"
"Mama" starts off as a nice little message to their moms and how much they care. But she keeps interrupting their tribute!! That witch... How dare she. Sorry, not much left to say about that one.
Ah, and now onto the single... "I Just Had Sex" featuring Akon.
This is my favorite song on the album that I've heard so far - "Jack Sparrow."
"Attracted to Us" was the first song from this album I hadn't heard for writing this. Beck is the featured artist here, in the chorus. It's pretty... understandable, I guess? Funny little short number about girls being attracted to these shy, nerdy white boys. It's just the right length to stop being annoying.
I'm not really sure where they're trying to go with "Rocky." Maybe it's album filler. Not hilarious. Not much more than a fantasy on fighting the boxer. I guess every little guy like this thinks about this at some point in life? Oh, but he kind of gets massacred by the end. I guess there's a little honesty in there. We'll chalk this up to being a tribute to Rocky's greatness.
"My Mic" is a quick little interlude with mic checks and different voices. Cool.
I actually really enjoy "Turtleneck and Chain" musically and melodically when I'm not totally paying attention to the lyrics. Snoop Dogg is alway cool. Sorry though, but once I honed into what was actually going on... I mean, who wants to listen to 3+ minutes of douches talking about their douchiness?
Anywhos, onto another video! "Shy Ronnie 2: Ronnie & Clyde" featuring Rihanna.
"Trouble on Dookie Island" includes sampling from "Minna Darekao Aishiteiru" by The Hornets. I say that because it's the only thing I can seriously say about this song. It's such a boy number, and I should not be the one giving an opinion on it... The only thing I can honestly say is that this sound should have never been made real.
I can't place it in my head, but I've heard "Falcor vs. Atreyu – Classy Skit #1" somewhere before. I mean, not this exact take on it, but... okay, okay, moving on!
I had no idea this was a Lonely Island song for the longest time. Two friends of mine do a killer acoustic version. Gents and Ladies, especially the moms, here's "Motherlover" featuring the one and only JT, Justin Timberlake.
John Waters and Nicki Minaj join in for "The Creep":
"Watch Me Do Me - Classy Skit #2" is another short track, and completely... horrible to listen to. I just... moving on.
Refusing to be like everyone else, the guys give us "Threw It On The Ground." He's just not up to accepting anything from anyone. Thank goodness we know this is a comedy album, because this is ridiculous. I mean, seriously, this could be a legit song by a very angry dude.
Who else just wants to go "awww" for "Japan." Oh mocking stereotypes. Always makes for funny times. I'm only sort of left wondering how they came up with these things. Okay, I'm really wondering that, but cool. This will make a really funny video if it ever gets that far.
"After Party" features Santigold. Looks like the party in Japan is all over. This is a little depressing. I mean, I get that it's funny, and they keep up their club beats, but it's just... wait, okay, second verse. I'm a little more confused. But maybe they're in for something more? Meh, okay, I'm bored.
Girls are less afraid of sharing their opinions, but these guys let it all go for "No Homo." Lots of compliments between them and they're not afraid, because they're backing it up with the statement of "no homo." They finish it out in the same manner with "No Homo Outro," and there we go. Album over.

I got my hopes up, and while they weren't completely dashed, they we're completely upheld. It's a boys album, and I totally accept that. It's all good. It's funny once, but there's not much I could deal with on a regular basis. Great videos though - more, please!
